2014 Camp at Huia

Great weather, amazing teamwork and communication, problem solving, risk taking and fun are just a few words to summarise our class camp at Kiwanis Lodge in Huia last week.  Everybody stretched themselves at some stage during the camp whether it be being away from home, trying a new challenging activity (Burma trails, water slides, archery, navigation, tangrams, blind folded challenges, building survival shelters) or persevering even tho we felt completely exhausted.

The camp would not have been such a success without my awesome team of parent helpers:  Jenette Bell, Trudi Green, Shelley Springford, Scott Etherton and Marcelo Pragier, who run a tight ship in the kitchen, chauffeured, participated, shared their skills, went down water slides etc. etc – thank you!
